Home-Based Schooling Options in East Valley School District No. 361

Washington law allows families to educate their children at home. All families who do so must notify their school district every year.

All East Valley School District families intending to home-school are required by law to notify their neighborhood school district. The District provides an Intent to Home School form for this purpose.

East Valley Parent Partnership supports homeschooling families through classes, curricula, equipment, and testing. Parents remain the primary instructional provider, with Parent Partnership teachers providing guidance and support.

Parent Partnership provides a range of services and support as needed by parents wishing to teach their children at home.
